Each BHS Adult Camp commences
with arriving after 6pm and before 9pm. A relaxed
introductory meeting takes place that evening
in the canteen where everything is explained
and any questions are answered. Everyone gets
to chose, which lessons they attend the next
day from flat work, jumping and cross-country
and the teaching is always of an extremely
high standard. There are various talks and
demonstrations and not forgetting the yoga
class to start the day and if you and your
horse are not too tired you can always explore
the permitted trails on the grounds. Previous
campers have told us there is never a dull moment
and that it’s a great way for you and your
horse to learn, and to enjoy quality time together.
There is also the option to prepare for BHS
Stages Examinations. This is an additional option
for attendees and will in no way detract from
the enjoyment of the camps for those who do not
wish to do an exam. However if you are considering
starting the BHS Examination System or are already
on the ladder this is the ideal opportunity to
prepare with training given by the BHS examiners
who are already teaching at the camps. To find
out more about the BHS Stages Exams look at www.bhs.org.uk
